French Cerused Oak Sideboard with Geometric Motifs & Tiles, France, 1940s

A striking French cerused oak sideboard from circa 1940, featuring bold geometric carved motifs across the door panels and three central drawers with sculptural hand-carved pulls. The cerused finish gives the oak a beautiful bleached, open-grained texture that is distinctly of its period. Each door panel is centered with an inset Art Nouveau style ceramic tile, replaced from the original with hand-selected pieces featuring flowing organic motifs in blue and earth tones, adding a one-of-a-kind decorative element. The piece is raised on chunky block feet connected by a low stretcher, and opens to reveal two generous shelved compartments flanking the central bank of drawers.

Can I place a vintage item on hold?

We offer holds for our trade members. Email us at lonefoxhome@gmail.com to request one.

When will my my furniture ship?

Once your order is placed, it will be dispatched from our gallery within 1-2 weeks. Delivery times vary depending on your location, but most pieces arrive within 2 weeks of pickup, if not sooner.

Can I return a piece of vintage furniture?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges once an item has left our gallery. If the piece has not yet been picked up, you may contact us to inquire about canceling delivery. Please note that shipping fees may still apply, along with a 10% restocking fee.

Does this qualify for free shipping?

This item does not qualify for free shipping; however, any smaller items ordered alongside it will ship free of charge. Due to the nature of our vintage furniture, these pieces require specialized packing and truck transportation to ensure their safe delivery.

What is White Glove Delivery?

All furniture and oversized or fragile vintage items are shipped via white-glove delivery service. This includes placement in your room of choice, unpacking, light assembly, and debris removal. The delivery driver will contact you using the phone number provided to coordinate the delivery.

Where can I pick up my items?

Our gallery is located in Mid-City Los Angeles and currently is by appointment only. To ensure that a team member is available to assist you, we will contact you within 24 hours of your order to coordinate your pickup.
