Living Room Makeover
So excited to finally share my living room makeover!! It’s been in the works for quite some time and it’s finallyyy complete. I can’t tell you how many comments and DMs I’ve gotten asking when I would be posting haha.
It’s been such a treat (and a lot of work) to redo basically every room in my new apartment. The space is really starting to feel like home and with only a few rooms left (mine included!) it will finally be time for a full apartment tour.
Refined boho with vintage accents was the theme for the space. I wanted the room to feel very comfortable and airy...I mean this is where all the Netflix movie nights will be happening. Since the living room is connected to the dining room, I wanted to keep the walls white because of the navy blue accent wall in the adjacent room. However, I felt like the room did need something to break up the white walls, so I painted the window trim black! It instantly gave the room a very loft vibe, which I loved!
Keeping with the black accent color, I added black curtain rods paired with linen curtains. When it came to furniture, I was drawn to the Mello Sectional from Article. It was such a unique modular couch and it ended up fitting beautifully in the space. I also added the Lento Lounge Chair and used their Kirun Sideboard as the TV console.
For decorative accents, I used a mix of items purchased from Target, World Market, and a lot of items I thrifted from various thrift stores around LA. I even went to an estate sale and purchased this gorgeous marble side table and gold vintage picture frames!
I seriously LOVE how the living room turned out and it honestly might be my favorite room in the house. You can watch the full process of making over my living room below:
