4 Easy Ways To Refresh Your Home For Fall

Fall is honestly my favorite season! I just love the cozy vibe, cooler weather, pumpkin spice lattes, and I’m a sucker for a Fall scented candle. It also starts the transition into the holiday season, which I always get super excited for. I love switching up my home and decor each season, it’s such a nice little refresh and a way to keep your home updated and feeling brand new. With that being said, I wanted to share a few of my favorite ways to refresh your home for Fall!

1. Set the mood w/ a Fall scent

I loveee buying new candles for every season and Fall scents just happen to be my favorite! There’s nothing like watching your favorite movie or tv show with an amazing smelling candle burning on the coffee table or in your room. It really sets the vibe and gives all the Fall feels. I really love the Hand Carved Wood Candle in Pumpkin Spice or the Beverly & 3rd Candle in Harvest Spice!

2. Layer up textures + pillows

I tend to switch up my pillows + throw blankets for the Fall time to cozier fabrics and rich colors. In the summer I opt for more light weight, light blends, but for Fall I switch up for lush fabrics. Switching up the throw blankets and pillows gives my living room or bedroom a nice little refresh without having to do a complete makeover. Anything plaid is always a must and I’m currently obsessed with the Clary Recycled Plaid Throw and Mara Plum Throw, the colors are so pretty. Check out the Blanket Stitched Pillow Cover and Diamond Tufted Pillow Cover if you feel like your pillows need a little update too!

3. Add seasonal touches

Don’t forget the most important step- adding seasonal touches! I like going to the pumpkin patch or even grocery store and getting pumpkins to add throughout. My local Target or Homegoods always has such cute Fall/Halloween decor. If you’re not a huge fan of traditional seasonal decor, incorporate more wood tones and rustic elements. Check out the Blissful Harvest Potpourri, it looks stunning in an organic wooden bowl. Also, this Handmade Dried Floral Wreath is the perfect touch to any door. You can even update your centerpiece with the Tattered Vintage Rattan Jug and Burnt Copper Taper Holders. These fun little accents go a long way!

4. Change up your wall decor

If you really want to go all out, swap out artwork with darker/moodier tones. You don’t have to purchase all new frames, I love going to Etsy, purchasing prints and having them printed at my local print shop. You can find some beautiful sets for less than $20. I also love all the Laurie Anne Art prints on Lone Fox! They are stunning in person and add the perfect warm, vintage touch to any wall.
