This masterfully cast bronze vase comes from the renowned Takaoka artisan Gousho, whose hand incised hallmark marks the underside of the base. A rich, living verdigris patina spans emerald greens, turquoise, and deep amber bronze tones across the surface, the result of traditional Takaoka chemical heat oxidation. The flared trumpet neck, slender profile, and pear shaped body rest on a stable pedestal base, equally suited to Ikebana practice or as a standalone sculptural object.
