A distinguished Dutch Art Deco side table in the manner of P.E.L. Izeren and the Amsterdam School, its circular top resting on a base of six stepped, notched legs in dark-stained oak with characteristic ebonized slat details and a lower circular shelf. The architectural precision of the base, with its layered stepped feet and geometric negative space, is a hallmark of the Amsterdam School vocabulary at its most refined. A highly collectible example of Dutch interwar design with considerable decorative presence.
