Lone Fox Kitchen

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Photographer: Michael clifford

This kitchen sits at the heart of my 1929 Spanish home and was once stripped of nearly all its original character, reduced to a blank and uninspired shell. In reimagining the space, I looked back to the home’s architectural roots, layering in hand-applied plaster, deeply veined marble, warm brass, and traditional proportions to restore a sense of age and permanence. The result is a kitchen that feels collected rather than renovated, honoring the spirit of the original home while embracing a lived-in, soulful approach to modern functionality.
