1929 Spanish Living Room

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Photographer: Michael Clifford

This living room was designed as a quiet refuge within my 1929 home, guided by light and a respect for what was already there. The fireplace was carefully stripped back to reveal its original silhouette, allowing the form to stand on its own without a mantle, while the original wood windows were restored to bring warmth back into the space. These intentional gestures anchor the room in its history, creating a setting that feels considered, era appropriate yet modern.
